Amy MacDougall is Debra Barone's best friend and becomes the on-again, off-again girlfriend of Debra's brother-in-law, Robert. Amy has a bubbly personality and comes from a family of protestants in Pennsylvania who she has said, wouldn't yell if they were on fire. She is the kind of person who apologizes often for things, even when she's done nothing wrong. She was a virgin at the beginning of the series -- at the age of 33 -- which Ray cannot believe.
