Anwar is the main protagonist. He lives in Chicago with his pregnant wife Isabella and his son. He was born in Egypt, but is living in the US since he was 14 years old. On the flight from a convention for chemical engineers in South Africa back to Chicago he gets arrested by the police. There he is interrogated about a phone call on his mobile that is connected to a terrorist group. Anwar negates the accusation, but nobody want to believe him. He is brought to an arabic country for questioning and tourture.
