Hildegarde Antoinette Hilda Spellman is a witch, and aunt to Sabrina. She lives with her niece and older sister, Zelda, in an old Victorian house in Westbridge, Massachusetts, along with their cat, Salem. Hilda was sentenced by the Witches Council to take care of Salem.Hilda is impulsive and often ends up following her whims into situations that end poorly.Background: Her magic essence looks like a puff of smoke and comes with a gong sound. She attended Clown College and roomed with a monkey named Bob. She graduated magna cum seltzer.She has had a series of off-beat careers throughout her life, including blacksmith, donkey walker and deep sea fisherman.She has been left at the altar several times by Drell, the head of the Witches Council.
