Axl Johnson is the youngest of four brothers who finds out on his 21st birthday that he is actually the human incarnation of a Norse god, and his brothers are all gods too. He is told by his grandfather Olaf, who he thought was his cousin, that he is the god Odin and that he now has the quest to find his goddess wife, Frigg before he dies, or his entire family and the surrounding areas will be destroyed in a cataclysm.A shy and retiring 21 year old virgin, Axl is hardly cut out to be Odin, but he slowly learns to harness his power and get in the hunt for Frigg. His bumbling attempts at romance are endearing, as is his earnest and unassuming manner.
