Baxter Stockman is an enemy of the Turtles. He is generally known as a mad scientist who created the Mousers, machines meant to seek out and destroy sewer rats, and who also gets mutated into a fly-human hybrid creature.1987 cartoon - Stockman was a misguided Caucasian inventor who was hired by the evil ninja leader Shredder for his Mousers. He eventually went insane and became a villain, even trying to betray and kill the Shredder. When the Shredder teamed up with the alien Krang, he got rid of Stockman by disintegrating him; however, a fly fused with his disintegrating body, turning him into a fly creature, and giving him the ability to command insects. The Shredder kept him on, but he now began to act more like a fly, being fascinated by bright lights, craving sugar, being unable to focus on complicated tasks.2003 cartoon - Stockman was an arrogant scientist working with the Foot for their resources, using them to build Mouser robots for his own ends. However, he was constantly defeated by the Turtles, and the Shredder constantly punished him by removing his body parts. He eventually ended up as a brain and eyes in a jar, and would often make attacks on both the Turtles and the Shredder.2012 cartoon - Stockman was a vindictive child prodigy whose inventions always caused destruction for which he kept being blamed for. He was hired by the Foot Clan to develop technology to use against the Turtles and develop new mutants, but eventually he made an attempt to kill both the Foot and Turtles. This failed, and the Shredder had him turned into a fly mutant; however he stayed on with the Foot since they valued his scientific expertise.
