Billy Tate is the son of Chester and Jessica Tate, brother to Corrine and Eunice. Nephew to Jessica's sister Mary Campbell and her husband Burt, Cousin to Mary's sons (Burt's stepsons)...Jodie (homosexual) and Danny (ex-mobster) and Grandson to The Major (Jessica and Mary's Father). Billy, a misunderstood young man who seemingly unbeknownst to his family has his own share of problems. Billy's only looking for someone to talk to and someone to talk to him (inform him on what's going on within his own family instead of reading it in the paper or hearing it at school), has been sent from the room more times than the number of crazy relatives...and The Sunnies trying to brain wash him...he seems to be the one person in his entire family not on the verge of a nervous break down, committing suicide, hiding from the mob, escaping from aliens, being invisible...and the only one not committing murders (huh Dad and Cousin Danny).
