Bob Dace (Earl Holliman) makes his appearance by eloping with daughter Judy Benedict on Christmas eve. They make their grand entrance at the family estate by coming down the grand staircase on Christmas morning. Bob Dace and Judy just want to make an independent life for themselves, with some help from the Benedict legacy, but not before sampling with Papa Benedict a little of the home brew Benedict whiskey. Holliman went on with a short career in network television.
