Boog is the main protagonist of the Open Season franchise. He is Elliot's best friend, Giselle's adoptive brother-in-law, Ursa's husband, Gisela, Giselita, and Elvis' adoptive uncle, and Beth's former pet.Boog is constantly believed to be the deuteragonist of the second film.He is voiced by Martin Lawrence in the first film and Boog and Elliot's Midnight Bun Run, Chris Williams in the video game, Mike Epps in the second film, and currently by Matthew J. Munn.
