Clubber Lang was a brash, hard-hitting right-hander from the mean streets of Chicago, Ill., who rose through the heavyweight ranks at an amazing speed to challenge Rocky Balboa for the world heavyweight championship in the third installment of the Rocky saga. Lang, the top-ranked contender in the world, toppled Balboa with a brutal second-round knockout in their first bout.
