Cordelia is a pink fish who lives on the coral reef near Pi. She's a model and when Pi first encounters her she's having her picture taken by a team of photographers, being managed by her crab agent. She doesn't handle a crisis well, needing Pi's help when she gets a fish hook stuck in her fin, but she is a genuine, decent character and although she could have her pick of any of the most powerful or attractive fish on the reef she eventually chooses Pi as her partner.
