Irene Daniels is a detective with the LAPD's Priority Homicide Division under Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson. They are the only two women in the squad, but do not share a bond over this fact. Daniels is skilled at forensic accounting and document examination. She is sensitive with victim's families and dedicated to her job. She eventually engages in a romantic relationship with Sgt. David Gabriel. Little else is known about her background.
