Diane Lloyd was a general surgical registrar (2002-2007) and later a consultant general surgeon (2007) on Holby City General Hospital's Keller ward. She worked there from 2002 until her death in 2007 (suicide by parking her car on railroad tracks). She had many relationships with other characters, most significant being with Ric Griffin. She also developed a rivalry with Jac Naylor when the latter arrived at the hospital in 2005. Her sister had also died a few years before Diane's death. Her parents are Carol and Oliver Lloyd.
