Daniel 'Danny' Hecht is Sydney Bristow's boyfriend in 'Truth Be Told', season one, episode one of Alias. Danny calls Sydney's father for permission to marry is daughter and is met with a steely response. He proposes to Sydney in the quad of the university she attends and she accepts. A conflicted Sydney decides to break security protocol and tells him her true occupation as a spy. He calls and leaves a message for her that is picked up by the agency she works for, SD6. Danny is seen as a security threat and murdered for his knowledge of Sydney's true occupation.
