Dr. Dawn Bell (played by Michelle Nolden) is an accomplished Cardiologist/Cardiac Surgeon at the top of her field at Hope Zion Hospital. Her refined skills and zealous approach to practicing medicine also secured her a position as the Head of Cardiology and subsequently, Chief of Surgery.Dawn was previously married to and still carries a flame for Dr. Charlie Harris, an Orthopedic Surgeon at Hope Zion. Despite the two ex-lovers giving into temptation in the moment of passion, the love is largely unrequited. The couple never had any children. Dawn lives a fairly solitary existence outside of work. She lived alone with her beloved guinea pig Vallenwe'ento. The pet eventually fell prey to a hungry snake. (R.I.P)
