Dr. Varava is the doctor from the institution that Esther (Leena Klammer) escaped from. He phoned Kate Coleman to talk to her about the picture of Esther she sent. At first, Kate doesn't believe that she's a 33-year-old woman with a pituitary disorder, but as Dr. Varava tells her about her past, she becomes more aware of the how dangerous she really is.
