Kendall first appears as the head of an FBI tribunal brought in from Washington, D.C., to interrogate Sydney Bristow after she is arrested. Believing she could be a risk to national security -- based on evidence that links her to a prophecy by 15th century prophet Milo Rambaldi -- Kendall questions her on every aspect of her life. She's eventually broken out of FBI custody.
