Dr. Irvin Gooshie Gushman was born in August 29, 1950 (as established in The Starbright Project).Gooshie is a computer programmer and the programmer of Ziggy. He met Sam Beckett in the Starbright Project and later helped him in Project Quantum Leap. The part of Gooshie was played by stand-up comedian and actor Dennis Wolfberg. Gooshie dies in the episode Fallen Hero, Part I .Gooshie was often described as a short man with a bad breath . Dr. Gushman's name was taken from the non-canon Q. L. novel, Song and Dance.
