Hamish Ascot is a Lord of England, and fancies Alice Kingsleigh. He intends to marry her at the beginning of the movie, but when he proposes to her, she flees without giving him an answer. Later, at the end of the movie, and the end of Alice's adventure in Wonderland, she returns to him and declines his proposal. She then talks with his Father about Alice's Father's idea about trading in the far east. She leaves at the very end of the movie. Anything about Hamish afterwards is unknown.
