Helen Santos is the First Lady of the United States in the administration of President Matthew Santos. She and her husband have two children -- a boy and a girl -- and have been married for almost 20 years. From a modest family, she is initially somewhat daunted by the luxurious trappings of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Her politics lean liberal and she sometimes clashes with her husband on playing some issues safe.
