Hermann Fegelein was a Nazi general and a brother in law to Eva Braun. He was in command of cavalry units on the eastern front, and was responsible for the murder of over 17000 jews. Fegelein was under the command of Himmler and was shot for attempting to desert the German army two days before Hitler committed suicide.
