James is a terrorist who participates in Hans Gruber's scheme to take over the Nakatomi building on Christmas Eve. As the gang rounds up hostages, James comes close to discovering NYC Police Officer John McClane in one of the offices. However, James gets distracted when his cohorts break up an intimate liaison between two party goers.Later, when the police assault the building, James helps one of the other terrorists put together a rocket launcher. They use it to attack the LAPD's armored vehicle. But, before they can destroy it completely, McClane drops a bomb down to their floor which kills James and his partner.
