Jason Teague is the once-boyfriend of Lana Lang, who met the young woman in Paris over a summer. He is the son of the obssessive Genevieve Teague, who vows to eventually kill Lana to end the threat Lana's ancestor Margaret Isabelle Thoreau will one day destroy the Teague family. Jason learns his mother designed to have the relationship occur, so he could get close to Lana and help his mother plot her murder one day. Jason gets wrapped up in his mother's obssession of three elements (three Kryptonian stones) of power which promise to reveal an archive of unimaginable knowledge bringing forth great power (all the information collected by Kryptonians) . This obssession is only heightened when he takes a job at LuthorCorp under Lex Luthor.
