Jeffrey Jeff Winger is the main protagonist of the NBC comedy, Community, portrayed by Joel McHale. He is a former lawyer who had obtained his license online, was disbarred and forced to go back to college. The plan was to ease through courses at Greendale Community College and then eventually return to being a lawyer. As time went on, his agenda of rushing became less dire, though he still wishes to graduate soon. Jeff also went from being a completely smug and conceited person to someone who has a heart and cares about his friends. Jeff has become the sort of leader or father of the group, and everyone seems to respect him... for the most part. Jeff still has his flaws and puts himself first with many things, but is trying to change and has redeemable qualities.
