Jennifer Mason met Duke while he was in Boston after being ejected from the barn. She has a connection to the barn and was hearing voices of the people that were inside. She thought she was going crazy due to the voices, but Duke assured her that she was hearing real people. Duke brought her to Haven and convinced her to stop taking her medication so she could hear Audrey again. It worked and Jennifer helped them rescue Audrey. She stays in town, becomes inolved with Duke and gets a job at the Herald. She discovers that her birth parents were from Haven but have sinced moved.
