Jesse is a resistance fighter from the future, who is part of a group of growing resistance members who disagree with John Connor's use of reprogrammed terminators. She is also in a relationship with Derek Reese. She went back in time with Riley in an attempt to turn John against Cameron. Jesse then kills Riley hoping that John will put the blame on Cameron, but John soon finds out the truth and confronts her. He lets her go, leaving her to live with her actions. She later meets Derek who threatened to kill her for her betrayal, but hesitated (though it is not shown). He later claims that John Connor let her go.
