Riley is young woman from the future who travelled back in time with Jesse in an attempt to turn John Connor against Cameron, the machine protecting him. She was instructed to befriend John but soon falls for him. She later finds out about Jesse's real plan to have Cameron kill her to turn John against the machine. Riley tries to kill Jesse but fails when she was killed instead.
