Josephine Joey Lucas is pollster who often does national projects for the administration of President Josiah Jed Bartlet. She is a California native and was educated UCLA and Stanford. Deaf, Joey is typically seen with her interpreter, Kenny. She also typically works with White House Deputy Chief of Staff Josh Lyman and, despite a rocky start to their relationship, the pair shares a strong mutual respect as well as an undeniable romantic chemistry. She is the primary pollster for the Bartlet senior leadership team.
