John (Roman Podhora) worked at the Presage Paper factory. He was a good friend of Roy. He told Nathan about Roy's aneurysm that would have killed him in a matter of days. He walks away, just before Flight 180's landing gear falls through the roof of the bar, killing Nathan. It is possible he was killed as well.
