Without knowing, her subjects have come to life, as they question the purpose, she is indecisive with the characterizations. The questions for the audience in this wonderfully layered plot, are who is talking to the cast and what sort of book is being written. Ms Thompson is memorale as famous but troubled author, struggling with her life and the book.
