Kimberly Kim Pine was born in October of 1981. She attended St. Joel's Catholic School, and was paired with transfer student Scott Pilgrim in her geography class. Kim was kidnapped by Simon Lee and the Benvie Tech High School boys, but was rescued by Scott. The two began dating and Kim agreed to join Scott's new band, Sonic and Knuckles. Scott broke up with Kim when he moved to Toronto near the end of high school, but they were reunited when Kim relocated to the city some years later. Kim again became the drummer in Scott's band, Sex-Bob-Omb. She still harbors feelings of affection and resentment towards Scott due to their past relationship. Kim is known for her sarcastic personality and laconic manner, which is only broken when she introduces the band by bellowing We are Sex-Bob-Omb! , even when the band is only practicing.
