Kinko, a little person, is nothing without his life with the circus and his beloved dog Queenie. He has the typical hard-assed, I care for nothing and no one attitude. In essence, he's a nasty little bugger. Throughout the book and hopefully the film, his character develops from one you detest, to one you care deeply for.
