In the beginning, Liam is identified as a young man who tends to fall in love with foster sisters, then ends up raping them and then turning it around to make them look like trash so the parents would kick them out for seducing him. He rapes Callie at a very young age, and after Callie tries to warn the next foster sister, he threatens her. Callie's foster family, encourages her to press charges. However, the lawyer describes him as a decent gentleman, and thus they would not believe Callie was raped. Callie was told they would believe if she consented thus making it only statutory rape. Callie chose not to lie under oath and spoke how she was raped knowing the judge might not believe her story. The outcome has yet to be shown.
