Manuela Manny Santos is a member of the class of 2007. She is best friends with Emma Nelson, whom she met in elementary school. She is bubbly and shy when she begins attending Degrassi, but her personality changes throughout the years as she becomes more interested in being popular and boys liking her, straining her friendship with Emma. She begins dressing more provocatively to get attention, leading to judgment from her father.
