Mariana (Jennifer Lawrenc) is a girl who has just found out her mother is having an affair with another man. Mariana is also in a relationship with a guy who confronted her in a store about just wanting to know more about her mom and their family. When her dad finds out that she is now sleeping with the boy he gos on a raging rampage to find the boy. He unsucessfully does so, mainly because when the dad has left on his way to the boy. Mariana calls the boy and tells him about her dad coming to find him. Now the boy is on his way to go pick up Mariana. They are now on the road headed to anywhere away from the little messed up town they lived in. Along the way on their adventure mariana realizes shes pregnant and chooses to tell the boy whenever she can get the chance. When she tells the boy he is shocked, but willing to support her and raise the baby with her too. When they finally find a place to live (besides his truck), she has the baby and stays for two days before she makes up her mind to runaway without the baby and leave her current lover. Later in life, the father of Mariana's baby gets into a plane crash and is now in the hospital. His best friend is to go on a search for Mariana now to try to find her, so that her daughter Mar
