I played the role of Marshal Weathers in 3:10 to Yuma, my name is Luce Rains. I've been in this business, a member of the Screen Actor's Guild in good standing for 32 years, 3:10 was the best opportunity I've had to develope a character for film and I've done over forty projects. Weathers had few lines but a big purpose, to arrest Ben Wade (Russell Crowe an Aussie) and get him to trial. Yes! Weathers is a man of the law and a man of few words -- a western guy -- we know him, he's part of our mythology, that's why I'll forever be indebted to James Mangold for casting me.
