Marshall Bowman is a very successful doctor. He's a husband and a father. He's married to Kathleen, who was married to George Juergens, Amy's dad, before Marshall. There kids are Grace, the cheerleader from Gran High School and Tom, a boy they adopted who has down syndrome. Throughout the episodes he expresses his Christian views to Grace, trying to discourage her from having sex until she is married. In his job he sees Amy in appointments. Unfortunately he died in the season 2 premiere The Big One . He was going to a 3rd world country on business. He was on a private jet full of doctors when the plane crashed.
