There was no such person as Martin Rittenhome. The person who Martin Scorsese played was my grandfather Matty Rosenhaus. He owned Pharmaceuticals Inc., which would become the JB Williams Company, manufacturers of Geritol, Aqua Velva, Sominex, Femiron, Lectric Shave and Serutan. Why my grandfather was named Rittenhome is beyond me- and factually incorrect.
