Marty Glickman was on that 1936 4x100 relay team, until the US Olympic committee decided to take him off the squad so as to not offend Hitler. Glickman, who was a Syracuse University graduate, became a successful NYC sportscaster (Radio play-by-play for Giants & Jets primarily). In an interview late in his life he still seemed upset about being denied his medal chance.
