Max was the name of a large, brown dog that lived with the Grinch, in his cave, on the top of Mt. Crumpit, at the north of the large town, known as Who-ville. Max was just like any other dog, and it was very confusing and tiring for him, when he was disguised as a reindeer by his master, and when he had to drag the Grinch's sleigh through Who-ville.
