He is a good listener who respects the Guppies' intelligence, encourages their sense of curiosity, and nurtures their imaginations. Mr. Grouper helps the Guppies understand the day's topic by thinking about it. He joins in their play in the classroom and sees every day as an opportunity for discovery. At the end of every day he takes the class on a field trip and celebrates the day's topic.He is an orange fish but can change colors.
