Clay is the head of a tactical team the Department of Defense has put together to work alongside Dr. Rosens alphas team. He has the typical soldiers mentality and is always looking for ways to militarize Rosens efforts. He is working on behalf of Homeland Security so he is first and foremost looking for Rosen to help him gather intelligence that will save human lives. He and Rosen are constantly at odds over how best to manage the team.
