Nigel is a well mannered man that works as a fasion assistant for Miranda Priestly, the Editing chief of Runway . He shows a huge amount of sarcasim through out the movie. That's what got him to being an assistant for Miranda. In the movie Nigel is sent to paris for a job that is right for him (A partner for James Holt), but when another person gets his job, his sarcasim happy moment is switched to a sad one. Andy Sachs (Played by Anne Hathaway) tells him how Miranda gave the job away for a very good reason. Miranda can't run Runway without him. Which is very much true.One Fact I found out about him on the 'The Devil Wears Prada' is that his full name Is Nigel Kippling. I believe that is how you spell it at least... It's found on one of the cut out reels for the movie in the speacial features, just in case youd like to look at it for your self.
