Officer Jessop first came to the show on Episode 44- The Oath in 2004 but the actor who plays him (Joel West) is featured as Officer Ramirez in the Episode Big Brother in 2003 before Officer Jessop is introduced. Jessop is killed in Episode 97- One of Our Own in 2006 where Horatio tell hims to check a barbeque grill and is blown up by a bomb triggered by the door, a sad loss to the team.
