He is very handsome and athletic and is known as something of a player with the ladies. For his entire life he has relied on an internal sensor that picks up vibes, both good and bad but often in tense situations. Although he comes off as a lunkhead sometimes, Pete often proves to be one of the smartest people in the room, summoning important tidbits and possessing excellent intuition.Pete partners with fellow Secret Service agent Myka Bering. They occasionally butt heads when Pete's jokey nature, tendency to quote films Myka hasn't seen, and penchant to rely on vibes clashes with Myka's more no-nonsense, erudite, and by-the-book approach.Pete is from Ohio. He lost his firefighter father as a young child. He was once married briefly. He has served in the Marines. He took piano lessons as a child and can also read lips. He also has a healthy appetite and especially enjoys cookies.
