Phyllis is currently (2008) the wife of Nicholas Newman, and the mother of Summer Newman and Daniel Romalotti. She is stepmother to Noah Newman. Her former husbands include Jack Abbott and Danny Romalotti. She is employed by Newman Enterprises as a website developer, and she is the P in N.V.P. Although she is impulsive and reckless at times, she does everything (good, bad, and sometimes ugly) for the good of her family.
