Pintel was former member of both Hector Barbossa's and Jack Sparrow's crews. He is a stout, stocky, and somewhat strange shipmate who is always seen with his friend and nephew, Ragetti.Like Ragetti, Pintel is mostly used for comic relief in the series due to his negative disposition, his appearance, his meager intelligence, and his escapades with his nephew.
