Ever since Poppy's mother died in a car accident when Poppy was eleven Poppy has had a hole in her heart . Poppy is a fashionista teenager from Malibu who pushes her dad too far when she jumps of a cliff, she is sent to boarding school for a semester and there meets pushy head girl Harriet, and the head masters son Freddie who she picks as her ticket out of the school to get expelled as the head master says no to fraternising. She then realises that her ticket out of there just might be the reason she wants to stay. Slowly Poppy's personality changes and the way she respects other people.
