Born on the Planet Fastoon in the Polaris Galaxy, Ratchet's father Kaden was one of the last of the Lombaxes in the galaxy following the Cragmite Invasion. He lived his early life on the Planet Veldin, dreaming one day of travelling amongst the stars, but required a robotic ignition system to jumpstart his ship.
