Fictional character Reed Rothchild adult actor,magician and failed poet/song writer who came to LA from Wisconsin.Reed like many others came to LA to crack into show buissnes,but like many others had to wait for the break.Reed worked various jobs bartending,pizza delivery and found a spot in the adult movie industry.For Reed it was easy work,easy money and a way to pay the bills until he can get his song writing,ad magic act off the ground.He teamed up with Dirk Diggler on the blue screen,and attempted to recoed a song that both lyrics,and singing sucked.They got swindled by a music RR agent,well he didn't make anything either.Reed got into drugs primarily cocaine along side Dirk Diggler but got a wake up call when a crazed drug dealer tried to kill him during a botched robbery.Eventually in the late 80s Reed got seriously involved in magic and illusion,his acts improved and was booked in a hotel/casino in Las Vegas where he relocated too,and decided to live,away from the adult movie buissness,but still keeps in touch with Jack,Amber,Rollergirl,Buck nad Becky who he considires family .
