Rose Wilder is the daughter of Almanzo Wilder and Laura Ingalls Wilder, made famous in the Little House on the Prairie TV series. In the series, Rose's father affectionately nicknames her Rosie Posie. In one of the TV reunion movies, Little House: Bless All the Dear Children (1983), Rose gets kidnapped on a Christmas Eve! In real life, she was born in 1886 and became Rose Wilder Lane after marrying Gillette Lane in 1909. Rose followed in her mother's footsteps as an author. She died in 1968.
